Dr Anne Lee is a Senior Fellow of the Staff and Educational Development Association, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development. She is also a Graduate member of the British Psychological Society.
In 2015 she was appointed as an Associate Professor at the University of Stavanger in Norway. She is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Bristol and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Roehampton University in London. Previously she was a Senior Academic Development Adviser at the University of Surrey and has worked in both commercial and public enterprises as a researcher, developing programmes, lecturing and leading workshops. Anne has worked in education at all levels, in businesses and in public service. She is familiar to many through her public speaking and writing. Her latest book on research supervision explores in more detail the framework that she has introduced in many workshops for academics around the world, has been published by Routledge. She has also run many programmes and short courses on research supervision, leadership, marketing and mentoring. Central to all her work is the concept of enabling and empowering people to give of their best.
